At 16 years of age Jerry Fletcher was working as a Dishwasher at a local Holiday Inn. One night the Line Cook called out sick and Jerry was asked if he could help out and he immediately was hooked.
Jerry developed a passion for cooking, so much so that he received his Associates Degree from Wor-Wic Community College and mastered his craft working at the Holiday Inn in Ocean City, Maryland, Old Mill Crab House in Delmar, Delaware and he is currently the Chef at Giant Foods in Salisbury, Maryland. It is a career that has spanned 31 years but that is only half of the story.
During this time Jerry was asked if he could cater a small event. Little did he know that the small stove in his kitchen would lead to a thriving business that keeps his calendar full and the building of a facility that is large enough to prepare food for 1500 people.
The secret has been keeping that down home taste but providing it in a gourmet setting. People keep coming back and spreading the word which is how his business has grown.
Jerry Fletcher himself sums up his mission best, “I am dedicated to great food and excellent service, after all, I have my name on it.”
